A lot of love and care is put in to making each piece of Of Love and Sea jewelry.  The process of making each bracelet, necklace, and set of earring is especially close to my heart since my late grandmother was the person who introduced me to the art.  I remember the first time my grandma made me a chainmail bracelet.  I was shocked that she started with a spool of sterling silver and created this beautiful chain, so intricate and detailed.  It wasn’t until after my grandmother passed away that I learn to make metal jewelry, and every time I sit down to start creating the next piece, I am reminded of the great memories I have of admiring my grandmother’s latest pieces and listening to the process she went through to perfect each one.

Since this process of making chains is so special, we make sure that each step included is absolutely perfect!  Here are several things that make our jewelry stand out:

Every piece starts first with a spool of metal. We then take that metal and carefully bend it into a coil and cut each coil precisely and cleanly to result in a smooth edge.  At Of Love and Sea, we only use quality sterling silver, 14k filled gold, and pure copper to ensure that your jewelry will stand the test of time.

Each unique chain is woven together by hand, one link at a time.  This process creates and strong and beautiful rope that delicately compliments every outfit with a nautical touch.

We make every piece uniquely and just for you!  Some chains include special clasps and adorable charms and beads, and others are elegant and simple on their own.  Each piece is polished to perfection, or antiqued to give a rustic feel.
